At the UCSF介入心脏病学项目, our team has advanced training in minimally invasive catheter-based procedures to diagnose and treat cardiovascular conditions, such as 冠状动脉疾病血管疾病和瓣膜疾病. We use specialized imaging to evaluate blood flow and pressure in the heart, then use innovative techniques to treat abnormalities that impair heart function.

We perform thousands of procedures annually, from routine diagnostic procedures, such as 冠状动脉血管造影 还有心导管, to percutaneous coronary intervention (a catheter technique for opening narrowed coronary arteries) and other complex procedures. (A catheter is a thin, flexible tube that can be passed into a blood vessel to reach the heart.)
